Managing an extensive list of customers can be challenging, especially when trying to focus on accounts with recent activity. The "Include Dormant Accounts" switch provides a solution by allowing you to filter out dormant accounts, making your customer list quicker and easier to navigate for your most frequent use cases.
Accessing the Customers List

Navigate to Admin / Customers List:
- Go to the "Customers" section under the sidebar menu.

Locating the "Include Dormant Accounts" Switch:
- At the top of the Customers list, you will see the "Include Dormant Accounts" switch. By default, this switch is set to OFF.
Understanding the "Include Dormant Accounts" Switch

Switch OFF (Default Setting):
- When the switch is OFF, the system will only fetch Prospect and Customer records that have had activity in recent months (to configure this, please reach out to PhoneX Client Success team.

Definition of Dormant Accounts:
- An account is considered dormant if:
- The "Account Last Used Date" is older than a configured number of days prior to today.
- The "Account Last Used Date" is determined by the most recent date in the set of {“Last Active”, “Last Order”, “Created”}.
- The account is NOT a Prospect whose temporary stock list access has expired.

Filtering Customer Lists

Switch OFF (Include Dormant Accounts OFF):
- The system fetches only active customer records, excluding dormant accounts. This makes your customer list more focused on accounts with recent activity, such as those updated, signed-in, or with orders in recent months.

Switch ON (Include Dormant Accounts ON):
- The system fetches all customer records, including dormant accounts. This is useful when searching a full list of all customer accounts, including those that may have not made orders in a while.
