Auto-Map and Auto-Create option switches in the “PX Connect / Item # Map” page are designed to automate your item mapping process.
Auto-Map Missing Item #s If Attributes Match Exactly:
When this switch is ON, the system automatically maps items with matching attributes to existing items in your local warehouse. This feature is turned OFF by default. When turned on, a confirmation popup will appear, informing you of the number of PXC items missing reference item numbers and allowing you to proceed or cancel.
Auto-Create and Map Missing Item #s:
When this switch is ON, the system automatically creates and maps new items in your local warehouse for missing item numbers. This feature is specifically available for clients using SaaS as the System-of-Record and is turned OFF by default. When enabled, a confirmation popup will display the number of PXC items missing reference item numbers, allowing you to confirm or cancel the action.
